Help me Decide!
Sun Jun 29, 2008 at 10:43:58 AM PDT
Okay. It's the end of the fundraising quarter, everyone who can and wants to donate needs to before 12 AM Tuesday, July 1st. We've all seen the "Orange to Blue" push around the website. My dilemma is deciding who and where. I am set on either $20 to Obama (Wouldn't be my first donation), a senate candidate, and a house candidate. Or, I could split my donation into six $10 donations, or four $15 donations. If I go with three $20 donations, I could drop Obama if we think he'll ride alright without me this quarter. (He didn't fly alright in May, and I regret not donating)
Side note: When the primary hasn't been decided yet (most notably MO-09) I picked the candidate I expect to be the nominee, usually the best fundraiser.
JTM's House Rankings
Fri Apr 25, 2008 at 08:51:59 PM PDT
Feel free to comment, share opinions. There are a lot more house races and it's harder to draw clear distinctions when ranking them compared to ranking the US Senate races. I am posting this to get feedback, and to compare information.
I also don't want the diary to be too long, so I'm not going to post financial information on here, but I will link SSP's two diaries.

JTM's Senate Rankings

This is how I see the US Senate races for 2008. This has been cross posted at SSP and Senateguru. For the most part it is pretty mainstream, with some standouts here and there.
Facing the NRCC Head On.

I'm the kind of guy who gets motivated when I have a point to make. I don't blog too often, but that's because things have been going well. Obama's fundraising has been off the charts, he has a clear path to the nomination, our candidates for congress have fundraising off the charts from the first quarter of 2008, and it looks to be an amazing election cycle. Who can complain? I'm certainly not. But yesterday that changed. Follow me after the jump!
New Memo from Clinton Camp: Republicans and Independents shouldn't count
Sun Feb 17, 2008 at 06:20:42 PM PDT
Now, there hasn't actually been any memo, but this is the new thing among MyDDers and Taylor Marsh. They are criticizing the fact that Obama is losing by over 600,000 votes (Estimated) among Democratic voters, and it is unfair to have Republicans and Independents deciding OUR primary. Below the fold I will provide examples from MyDD and Taylor Marsh, and we can see if their prophecy fortells Wolfson and Penn's memos spinning the previous and future contests tomorrow.
MyDD Cheerleading Low-Turnout
Tue Feb 12, 2008 at 10:18:30 AM PDT
Ahhh, if there wasn't an unwanted child in every family. In this family of blogs... (Kos, MyDD, SSP, etc) I consider that child to be MyDD. Why you might ask?

I went to vote today around 11 am. I've been to this local school to vote numerous times. I can safely report:
THERE IS NO OBAMA-MANIA IN MY TOWN!
I live in the heart of his base: there is a sizable population of elite white liberals and overall it is a majority black middle class district in Prince Georges County Maryland.
MoveOn's Obama fundraiser
Thu Feb 07, 2008 at 02:39:09 PM PDT
Please tell me if this has been diaried already. I was busy from 1PM Central - 3:30 PM
MoveOn raised 357K for Obama. Add that on to his 7.6 million (at least - They stopped counting around 11AM Central today) so far since February 5th, Obama has raised 8 million dollars since February 5th.

Four Congresspeople Endorse Obama Today
Thu Jan 31, 2008 at 10:55:01 AM PDT
Word on the blogs yesterday was that the Obama campaign had at least one big endorsement before Super Tuesday. People have speculated it could be Edwards or Richardson because Obama crosses paths with each of them on Friday. That said, a big momentum shot in the arm for the campaign, as they announce the endorsement of four congresspersons from February 5th states of California, Connecticut, and North Dakota.
MyDD no longer accepting differing opinions?

Basically, my account got deleted on MyDD without getting troll rated once tonight. Just thought people should know that MyDD is performing censorship without reason.

Here's the only blog I commented on tonight.
Nevada: Off the Table for Obama?
Thu Dec 13, 2007 at 09:28:10 AM PDT
The Obama campaign doesn't think so.
As the momentum for Barack grows in early states, Nevada is aiming to capture the enthusiasm by opening three new offices in cities with an already strong base of grassroots supporters. The new campaign offices in Henderson, Boulder City, and Winnemucca will bring the total number to ten across the state--more than twice the number of offices of any other presidential candidate.

OK-Sen: Andrew Rice Getting Started

This diary was originally posted on MyDD by the campaign staff and I offered to cross post it.
(I'm assuming this was the first day the campaign staff had an official account, so they can't post on DKos for a week based on the rules)
